Workflow Review Process

A Workflow can be sent for Review before publishing. This enables the content of a Workflow to be checked and provides feedback in the form of comments to the Workflow owner.

There are four main stages of the review process, which can be repeated as many times as required:

  • Enable Review
The owner of the Workflow activates a Peer Review, allocating a reviewer or multiple reviewers.
The Workflow is locked during this process, preventing any further changes.
See - Send a Workflow for Review
  • Notification to Reviewer(s)
The reviewer(s) receive review notifications by email.
  • Reviewer(s) Action Request
The reviewer(s) open the Workflow (read only) and add comments.
On completion, the reviewer(s) update the review status and the owner of the Workflow receives a notification.
See - Reviewing a Workflow and Complete Review.
  • Action Review
The owner views the comments and makes any changes; they can also add/edit comments in reply to the reviewer.
Optionally, they can then set it back for Review again, or Publish the Workflow.
See - Action Review Comments and Publish a Workflow.
